 The BORAH-UTILGUA Project on Guarismo, Colombia

BORAH has partnered with UTILGUA in Colombia to assist school children in the small village of Guarismo in Colombia,

Guarisimo is a subdivision of María La Baja, , in the Bolívar department Colombia.It has a population of about 1.500, comprising of more than 70 families, living in vulnerable conditions, the majority of whom were displaced by violence. The economy is based on livestock and crop farming.

In Guarismo, there is one school for preschool and primary level education. However, few of the children go to school for the sole reason that their parents cannot afford basic school supplies such as pencils and notebooks, not to mention footwear and school uniform. .

With your help are donating school supplies to the primary school in Guarismo .

You can assist more than 100 young girls and boys of school-going age providing them with the quality of life that every child deserves
