A little Girl’s Story- Lighting a Candle to her Night

Meet 3 years old (in 2018) Daniela, who was paralyzed from her waist down at birth. Daniela’s father (a Venezuelan citizen) passed away soon after she was born, leaving her to care of her mother, a Colombian living in Venezuela. . .

Daniela’s mother had to leave Venezuela and return to Colombia where her mother comes from due to the economic and political climate in that country. Without a job and little money, Daniela and her mother now live with a family of 10 in a small house on the outskirts of Bogota, rented for them by a long-time family.friend. Daniela and her mother have to sleep on the floor because they have no beds, and have to rely gifts from friends and family to survive, making getting the basic needs for Daniela such as food and pad sometimes a challenge.

Currently, Daniela is having also having difficulty getting medical treatment to continue the therapy she started in Venezuela since she is not classified a Colombian citizen

Currently, Daniela is has no means to medical treatment to continue the therapy she started in Venezuela !.
