BORAH’s Health Center
BORAH works in collaboration with community members to improve the health members impoverished communities through community-based health education and activities. One of BORAH’s main projects in this line is to build a health center a the outskirts of Kampala in Uganda. This project will serve as a model for other health centers to be built in other parts selected locations.The project is designed to reach a specific group of people, address specific health issues in that community.

Services to be Offered at The Health Center:
- Provide Help for Rape victims including psychological services
- Health services for the elderly population
- Make HIV and HCV treatment accessible to poorest in the communities
- Improve lives of mothers or women with obstetric fistula
- Help Youth with disabilities gain access to health care and education
- Educating the next generation of health professionals and Host seminars (provide brochures and educative materials)
At BORAH our dream is to serve one person at a time, and give HOPE to the population we serve !
Program Area for which Support/ funds are requested:
- Support in the building and establishment if the Health Center
- Services for the Rape victims, i.e. HIV testing, pregnancy test and Counseling
- Help provide formal education/career development in poorest population
- Implementing HIV & HCV Screening in Community Health Centers/Clinical Settings
- Make HIV and HCV treatment accessible to poorest communities
- Help Establish testing schedules/timelines for events with outreach programs
- Establish testing schedules/timelines with University Residence Life
- HIV prevention education in universities and colleges
