A Mother’s Story- Lighting the Candle to her Night

M eet 30 years old mother of eight. After giving birth to five healthy children, Naiga became pregnant with triples. Before the kids were born she lost the husband and the father of her kids. She has managed to care for them but she struggles with providing education, clothes and medical care. With the heightened level of poverty in Africa, her situation has worsened. The papers concerning the house are with the bank until the land is paid in full. . .

This mother is a fighter who makes sure that kids don’t go to bed hungry. . Due to lack of funds the kids are not in school. She cannot afford to pay tuition and providing the basic needs.

She works in a convent as a helper where she gets paid 70,00.00 Ugandan Shillings pee month which is about 25$, which is not enough for her to prevent medical care, clothing, and feeding them. BORAH is helping education, clothes, medical care and mirco finance for her to start a small business. .
